3rd gen hemi 5.7 with a stupid problem

So I have the worst luck I swear. Had my fuel line removal tool. Went in ok. Barely pulled and the darn thing broke off immediately in the quick connect. Tried putting the tool back in and the broken fuel rail line must be severely rusted to the back of it because it won't release it. Any tips on getting it out?

The quick connect has a silver braided fabric I'm assuming for heat dissipation which the line goes back to a hard line anyone ever just run a rubber line from the hard line side and attach a new quick connect?

Any help appreciated.

Personally I would just replace the fuel line but if you do want to rig it at least make sure you use high pressure line and clamps.

Well here is my problem. I looked on the Mopar website and looked on the service manual and it says fuel line only and can't find a part number. But the factory SM did have a snap on part number for a tool that they specifically recommend to remove it so I ordered it. Will try putting a bolt on it and try removing it with that tool. Otherwise I may remove that end and reflare the steel line for either just a rubber line or a new quick connect.

And then after try finishing to remove the lifters. Tighter than Mother Theresa at a Frat Party plus the damn stupid lock clip has fallen off at least 2 just on 1 pack

I bought a few cool tools. One was a lifter remover on Amazon. Absolutely easy tool to use and I got the lifters our super easy peasey. Straight out and no damage to the lifter walls. Just wanted to mention this in case you guys have to do it. I never used one for lifters before. Mad at myself now for not having one.

Hi everyone, so I took a break from the problem! Cleared my head and came up with I think a pretty genius solution.

I took a screw and put a few washers under it. Under the washer I put the fuel line disconnect tool. I screwed the bolt in and at the same it pushed the fuel line disconnect tool into it and pushed against the 4 lock clips. I sprayed some PB blaster in it and viola! A little bit of tug and it came out. Clips undamaged and I saw the amount of rust and junk that caused it and surprised I got it out! It worked fantastic.
