What should happen on a 2004.5 dodge 5.9 diesel when the rail fuel pressure regulator is unplugged if everything is working correctly? I know the FCA being unplugged will cause max pressure, but what about the rail pressure sensor being unplugged?

A guy on Utube did just that, but my memory isn't the best anymore but I think it screwed up the idle causing it to surge and die. You might want to do a quick search on utube. There are a lot of good postings involving our Cummins.

Thanks. I have done quite a bit of looking and haven't been able to find out the answers as to whether it presssures up or pressures down
