Gear select hesitation?

Hey everyone, my truck has a hesitation when I put it in drive and reverse. Does this sound like a band adjustment issue or a old fluid thing? 120k 2001 ram 1500 46re

I'd definitely check the fluid level. If it looks worn, change the filter and fluid.

Remember to warm up the truck and check the fluid on a level surface in neutral.
