Does anyone know if by tuning w/ a superchips for example and changing the tire size will at all affect my gas mileage via changing up the transmissions shift pointsor anything like that. Or does changing the tire size just allow the computer to read the distance correctly? I have a stock 3.55 gears on 37s which i will be changing over too 4.56's hopefully by the end of the week.

If you're changing just the gear ratio and not the tire size you shouldn't have to do anything, should still be the same tone ring.

I'm on 35s with 3.92 gears and a 4.7L. I get about 9 in the city and about 16 to 17 on the highway, depending on how I drive. lol

I want to get 4.11s but no shop in the town I live would be smart enough to swap gears.
