Aaron, in his Truck pics it looks like he has almost no rake, so not sure if the front was ever raised, what I meant was if they are already cranked up (which I do not think is good to be doing to stock keys anyway) then backing them off should lower/return it closer to stock and really shouldn't hurt anything. So I do agree with your point and if you say raising gives a harsher ride and lowering gives a softer ride then I have to assume your right about that but I found by adding 2" leveling keys to mine did not make it harsh and with the HD springs has resulted in an overall smoother ride for mine.
To stay on topic, One thing I been thinkin about is why Trup did you have to notch out the front spindles? was it because it was for a 2wd and those are different or did you get the wrong parts from Moe's? I know you mentioned something in your vid and you did get wrong cal-trac brackets.
Wonderin if that is related to the front vs the back.
