Not heard of cam bearing failures - except on Harley's. (caged needle bearings, not enough load bearing area for power builds)

That's about the only good thing about the Hemi's oiling system,is it's cam bearings, this article applies to anybody who has a cam bearing failure or hot tanks the block, and needs to replace the cam bearings
Its very seldom you hear of a hemi with a bad cam bearing, but they do happen every once inawhile, usually on engines with a poor maintence record

Kind of confusing better versus best, the best is like 1/2 of the bearing, but they say the 1 oclock position tends to be better in the best half? Nothing has changed since 2002 with this part of the cam?

Usually 2:00 oclock is the best position, but as long as you're in that ballpark, you'll be okay
