Today was waxing truck and noticed my left headlight assembly was loose on outer side.
I opened the flap inside the wheel liner and sure enough that white plastic pull down lock was up and tried pushing headlamp assembly back in on that side while pulling down on the white tab and it broke and fell out. Not sure if it matters and is important part, they are after market, the headlamp is bolted in on other sides and not sure how that piece even goes back in. Where can you order another and should I be worried about the head light assembly coming loose more on outerside?

Rockauto has them, but I believe you need to buy the entire bracket. Listed under headlamp bracket

Is it something I can go without though?
That thing never would lock down correctly with aftermarket lights.

I broke both of mine several months ago and have had no issues with my headlights doing anything wonky. Just pop the ball they clip over into its socket and hand tighten the 2 bolts that hold the housing from the front and you good to go!

Yeah thats what I’m hoping. I mean its bolted in fine just, worried about it popping out on that side where the pin is. I think that the lock originally held down. I think its been out a while and I just noticed it.
