Help bypassing prime gears in shift schedule

Can anybody help explain how I bypass 2nd prime on my shift schedule? I've been playing with it for about a week now but I'm not sure how to make the values lower than 2nd gear so it skips prime on a WOT downshift

What tuner are you using that allows this to be done?

You can't bypass prime in any shift schedule. The Superchips advanced trans tuning won't allow it.

Post 2 on this link is mine, didn't feel like writing it out again.

Not sure if it will work on 09's, On my 05, 2P is only used as a highway passing gear so I was able to hide (not delete) the 2P kickdown behind 2nd to fool the tranny into going into 2nd instead of 2P on kickdown. 06+ 2P is used regularly on upshifts and downshifts so not sure if the values will go low enough on 2P but I do recall BigPapa doing this with his 07 Megacab. Hope this helps

When I tried lowering 2p below 2nd it wouldn't let me. I guess I can't do anything about it

By chance, can you post up copy of the shift schedule you are running? You might have to move 2P Upshift values down first, way below 2nd down then try to move 2P down lower. Just an idea.

By chance, can you post up copy of the shift schedule you are running? You might have to move 2P Upshift values down first, way below 2nd down then try to move 2P down lower. Just an idea.

Right now, I have it set to the superchips setting.

Sorry man, those attachments are "invalid" according to RF. Let me try to come up with a 09 schedule that will work for you, I've helped a few other 09's in the past. Let me ask you this, have you copied or ever used a custom shift schedule off the shift schedule server? He has a 2009 4.7. I'm not sure if there are any on server.

If he can get his TP values to you, I'm sure you can make him a very nice schedule. :)

Yes I have, the 2008 is the one I copied and I got as close as I could. Some of the throttle% points are different from mine. The 2010 was nowhere close. I'd like a really quick shift, and at about 50mph at a wot downshift, it seems like it waste time downshifting through gears until it reaches one that gives me get up and go. Is there a way to shorten that process? Maybe to skip one of those gears in the downshift?

If you're basing it off a 2008 schedule, that's why you're having some issues. TP has to be spot on when creating a schedule. Once you get Scott those values, he'll make you a schedule and you'll see the difference.

The values are strangely so different than my buddies 09. Anyway now I have the values I will make you a great shift schedule, just give me a day or two.
