The values are strangely so different than my buddies 09. Anyway now I have the values I will make you a great shift schedule, just give me a day or two.

Thanks bud, I truly appreciate it. What do you have in mind as far as changes go? Quicker firmer shifts? Idk what else can be done..

I generally go for raising shift points throughout the rpm range therefore keeping you in the power band and giving firmer shifts because the points are higher. I will also work on hiding 2p if that is at all possible with 09's. Need some time to enter all these values in Excel

You have the right guy working on it for you. Scott is not only a great guy, but he's also the "shift schedule guru" ! :rockit:

Are these values you've given me a user custom schedule or are the numbers stock?

They should be stock. I had it on the superchips schedule before I took the pictures, and it made me switch back to user in order to look at them

I have some values put together, this is my first draft and remember everything is tweakable from here. I have no way of sharing this Excel spreadsheet so here are some clips of the spreadsheet. Enter these values as close as you can, my figures are rounded off.

Set torque management around 8% across the board.

Awesome man, I'm not sure how to tell but what were you able to do with bypassing 2p?

The 4th gen shift schedules are much different than my 05. There are a lot more variables and values and shift points are much more refined per gear with 4th gens over 3rd gens. Remember 05 only used 2p as a kick down gear, it was fairly easy to hide 2p. 4th gens activated 2nd prime as a regular up shift and downshift and it is used quite often, more regularly than you think. According to the value numbers your 2p down has values lower than 2nd so it shouldn't come into play on a kick down. Test it and see what you think.

I like it so far, I can tell a difference in the shifts. Right when it hits 50 it shifts going from like 1800rpms to 1400.. What do I need to change to make it hold in that gear until I hit 45mph, then shift instead of 50?

Those RPM dropping from 1800 to 1400might be the torque converter locking up, no control over that unless you, like you said raise the values up but it's always a crap shoot if it will work or not. I would raise 3up 0% to around 48 instead of 45, then the second value in 3up to around 52 and see what that gets ya.
Tweak, test and tune. I must have done that hundreds of times over the years. Don't be afraid to experiment with raising shift points where necessary. This is a great start.

I'm completely lost in what lowering and raising the values change and how it changes. But I'll give that a shot and see where I get

Low shift schedule is for your 4x4 shifts when transfer case is in low range..
OD off schedule is just that.......a shift schedule for when your OD button is pushed. I really like that one because with a push of a button you have a 2nd custom shift schedule, it's cool but it locks out 5th gear.

He did an excellent job, the first time I messed with it by trying to copy off the 08 schedule I found, the shift points were up too high, Scott hit it right on the money with this one. This should be added with the rest, so other 09 4.7 guys can have a modified schedule.

Some may or may not like running 2000 rpms up until it shifts at about 50mph, but it can be tweaked.

He has the shift points set a little higher than factory so it hangs a little more before each shift to keep you in the higher rpm range, which I like but it's not overkill.

So far I have no problems, and I appreciate Scott's help. I'm not sure how to post this schedule up, but I'm sure it's not too hard to do.

Very cool!

If you can, attach the schedule here and we can upload it to the server.
