I have come across this question in other forums- unanswered... Do the bolt patterns match up between the Hemi and 4.7(semi-Hemi) throttle bodies? Without just buying one or having a friend with a Hemi close by its hard to tell.
Correct me if wrong, but this is what I found about the dimensions:
Hemi = 80mm= 3.1496"
4.7= 76.2mm= 3"
The biggest question is, can a Hemi thottle body be mounted on a 08'+ 4.7?
From looking through different ads, and posts, it seems like certain 4.7 engines will accept a Hemi TB providing intake manifold inlet hole has been tapered/ported to match.
Since both have four bolts to fasten to the intake manifold, and both have electrical connection "drive by wire" ---> How different or alike are they? If enough room on the Hemi TB, surely the bolt holes can be ported out within reason for match up on 4.7 intake manifold bolt holes...???
Anyone, a performance shop, personal, who ever have any input on this? Yes, sometimes thinking outside the "box" is the only way imo.
