From my understanding; resistors are required in order to "fool" the system into thinking the bulb isn't burned out. The canbus system still uses a resistor; just different than using a relay kit.

I'm sure JJ will chime in shortly.

Just get a kit from Jermey at Retroshop - I have a '13 Laramie - it was plug and play with no issues.

My '14 had HID canbus kit w/ anti flicker and message cancelers, ended up with the Enlight kit. Much brighter and it was plug and play.

Shoot. Don't think I'll be doing that. Maybe I'll go led. I always run with dogs since the stocks aren't bad at all. Thanks for the heads up.

DDM tuning's 35 watt plus canbus kit was completely plug and play on my ram when i had the quad lights. Now i am running ddm's ultra non-canbus kit, and i have the relay harness from jeremy at retroshop, and also running the tyc projectors as well.

That is excellent!!!!! I really don't want to pull the headlights apart to change the projectors so I'm just using the factory ones in the mean time. I used to use Ddm 8 years ago. Seems like the website has changed a ton! Great quality back then though

I personally have never had a problem with any of their products, and i have had a number of their kits on a few different cars.

Stock projectors are OK, its amazing how much better they TYC replicas are over stock though...
