Put some weight in the back!^^

I've got 12,500 miles on mine. Had to get the A/C recharged and I think it's going to need a new blower motor in the future.

I've been putting weight in the back of my trucks in MT for over 40 years. Had to on that long box QC HD 4X4 Ram I had. Only weight in the back of my new Ram is the Lo Pro Tonneau Cover. No issues with all the heavy wet snow yesterday even though I did use 4X4 mode quite often. Multiple forecasts say up to TWO FEET of SNOW by Sunday.

Mileage is now 1,060 and got my Mom home safe. :happy107:

Just turned 60,000 on my 2012 1500 hemi, origional owner. Retired, so, limited use around town and mainly towing our 5000lb travel trailer 4-5 times a year. Best truck I've ever owned.

..just a random thought. what fuel do you run?

The 'Big' manual says run high quality fuels. I always use fuels from Top Tier places (google it if you're not familiar). I never use the cheap stuff ...well it's not cheaper, cost the same as the high-grade fuels.

Secondly, they say 87-89 on the 5.7, and I got a sense there is a lean towards the 89, which is what I've been running. No benefit for above 89 according to the manual. OTOH, if your 93 is no ethanol, I'd consider running it a little if you're getting noise. See what happens. It's well known on some engines back in the early 90's, running low octane fuels lead to a lot of carbon build-up and engine failures. I've read the scientific reason behind it (of course I can't quote it ...but it's out there). I think those days are long behind us ....I haven't heard that it's an issue on these motors. But make sure you check/change your PVC during maintenance (something often overlooked), so it doesn't clog and result in high condensation in your engine or you WILL have build-up and potentially other bigger issues (Lifter tick!!).

I've got 38,000 on My 2013 Ram 1500 Express with the 6 speed and 3:55 gears and Limited slip differential. 2" front leveling kit. No problem's mechanically. Its under warranty until 2020 Bought the extended warranty. Only problems I've had is after upgrading the radio from 5 to a 8.4an and using it for a year flawlessly the new Firmware update from 16.13.13 to 17.11.01 has been causing me issues with the navigation and back up cameras and aux input. All worked great before. Reset fixed the camera only.

3,400 miles. I had the oil changed even tho the dealer said 5-6k. Bc i know motors and what happens when a motor breaks in. I run a vararam intake and full dyno max catback. I'm very **** about servicing my vehicles. This will hopefully be the last time the dealer touches my truck unless something breaks under warranty.

Best things u can do are get a oil catch can, u can't believe how much oil goes into the intake it's disgusting. Run good fuel system cleaners ever few months to keep the injectors happy.

The service manager at the dealer said that the hemi tick Is often confused with the injectors ticking... I call bull on it but he's not going to tell Me the truth. He did say they have only done a few engine overhauls on the new hemis bc of the lifters.

I confused my “tick” for lifter tick when I actually took a stethoscope to the engine ... The tick was most definitely coming from the injectors check it out..... Def calmed my nerves hearing it myself direct from the source. Were u hearing something similar to this ??
