Wondering how much you would spend or did spend on installation of a 3" body lift ? Really busy at work so don't have time to do it myself and it seems like 600 is the going rate around here for labor and 300 something for the bodylift just curious what everyone one else paid

Thought it seemed high that's why I'm curious what others pay or would pay it does say it can take 6-8 hours on zones website and performance accessories

Yeah I would say its about 6-8 hours labor. (just installed mine at my buddies shop, this is what it took) And a shop being around $100 an hour probably. I'd say its pretty dang close to what its probably gonna cost.

The Rams really hide body lifts well.

$600 may be a bit on the high side, but I could see a shop charging that. For a shop that knows what their doing with the right tools, I wouldn't think it should take much more than a half a day's labor, but of course they are going to round up.

thats what i thought, zone offroad is going to come out with a 1.5'' body soon so i was thinking about doing that but really the 3'' ones you can hardly tell are even body lifts but i think the smaller ones are easier to install bc of steering extensions etc

With my 1.25" body, I didn't have to extend anything. It was just body mounts and move the bumpers. I wish I had gone the 3" though and done the extra work.

I did a 3" on my buddies 03 and I think it took about 4 hours max to do it just using hand tools and a jack and a case of beer

I'll send you a pic of my truck later if I can remember. Its not bad at all. I'm going to undercoat it just because its a little visible and itll look better. But its definitely not like a Chevy. Only thing really noticeable is you can see under the frame through the back wheel well. But a rear wheel well liner will fix that.

Also one reason mine took a while was obviously because of rust, dicking around in the shop, and I had an RV receiver in the front that was a son of a ***** to get off. Torched it off at the end. So yeah. I'd say you could accomplish in 5-6 with right tools.

It's not a great pic but you can see the sticker under the front door. And this is me kneeling down. If you standing and looking at the truck you can't see it
