I just ordered a UAQ from an auto salvage dealer on EBay. I want to get the anti theft code online, and tried a couple of links from the forum. They came back as server down. Does anyone know of a reasonably priced online service that is still in business.
Did you try this link ...

That works. Thank you.
When I install it and am sure it works, I will need the usb hub conversion cable.

When I install the new radio, I will be removing and selling my 2017 8.4 navigation radio. Is there a way to get the anti theft code from the radio before I remove it. This will make it easier for the buyer to install.

My local dealer here in Delaware was pretty easy to get the code - you should be able to call the parts department with the radio serial # and the donor VIN #. For free, took about 5 minutes.

Just called & said I was upgrading my radio & needed to get unlock code - helps if you have the bill of sale, but they didn't ask me for it.

I have gone through the whole thread, and see two part numbers shown for the required USB hub. These are: 68328704AC and 68322813AC. What is the difference between the two and which is better?

Stick with the 2 options as listed in the OP. .. they are compatible with both Android Auto AND CarPlay. The other one you found randomly in the thread from a base 18 ram is not CarPlay compatible.

Use ...
MEDIA HUB: 68328704AC (RAM)
.............. or 5XG28DX9AC (Compass)

Thanks. This is exactly what I needed. I want to order a hub and didn’t want to order the wrong one.

If you have the jumpseat, you can also replace the plastic insert to have the correct cut out for the 18 ram hub (see op & first 5-6 posts)

Per Benny the Jeep Compass hub has been superseded by 5XG28DX9AD. I just ordered one from him yesterday.

Any reason why a UAS from a 2018 would not work in a 2019?

^^^^ this exactly ...
19 classic 'DS' should use the same Panasonic PNs as the 18's listed in the OP (per Benny at Allmoparparts.com when I asked a few months ago)

New 5th gen style 2019 'DT' truck ... Doesn't look like it. Some of the pictures are missing that the 4th Gens have, ie backup camera, and Airbag Deployment Signal for one.

I believe someone just tried a 19 Delphi DT 8.4 radio and had issues too.

Ok. It was Josh Z. Here's the related posts...

Ok, installed UAS in my 2014, already installed steering wheel controls. No volume control via steering wheel. Am I screwed or do I need to wait a while? Sirius already on, although in preview. Any hints?

What's the PN on your radio?

Just looked over a 4th gen 19 classic 'DS' radio Pinout and a 5th gen 19

5gen DT radio has the same ...
Power
Ground
CAN C
CAN IHS
AUX AUDIO
CD Changer inputs
Mic inputs
Speaker outputs

But is missing the following inputs from the 4th gen trucks radio ....
Airbag Deployment Signal
Backup Camera video

So in theory, the DT radio can't interpret the volume signals the 13-18 4th gen trucks are sending over the CAN bus (without some sort of interface between them, like the 13-14 trucks need for the heated seats with an 18 radio). ... Plus no backup camera since the 4th gen is putting that info on the CANbus also I believe

Just installed an 8.4 UAS P/N:68461747AA into my 14’ Big horn With 7 speed single zone climate. Had a 8.4 RA3 In before. This was purchased from eBay user bestdealsken for $775. Seems to be a 2019 classic unit, date of manufacture was 5/2019. Can’t find anything on this part number, but it works. Also got compass media hub and harness from m2 mods!

Anyways, unit works flawlessly besides the finicky HVAC. A/C and hot Both work fine, Just doesn’t seem right when adjusting temp up and down. takes some longer pushes for things to start moving Everything else seems to be golden. Took about a few hours for the BCM to download everything to the radio, initial turn on was missing many settings, sxm, etc. I can’t believe the sounds difference, it’s almost night and day to me. Just stock speakers, no alpine.

Question, my 2016 ram had the backup camera in motion within apps, the RA3 in this truck didn’t, was hoping that was going to be present in the UAS. Is this something I turn on with alpha or something? Also, assuming Sirius guardian is still a no go with the retrofit?

Thanks guys

Backup camera in motion was not available until 16' so even though your radio is now a 2019 your truck will not be able have that option due to your MY14. I have a 2017 Ram that I added a 14' RA4 to and the BU camera in motion would not work nor would it display the icon for the backup camera even though I had enabled the option with Alpha OBD (Trailer hitch camera) & my truck is a 2017. What I did and you can do is add a Customtronix kit and it enabled the cargo camera soft key then click on it and toggle from that screen to the backup camera. I added a brand new 2018 UAQ months ago and immediately upon startup I have both cargo & backup camera icons and video feed in motion. Long reply but just trying to help because it took me awhile to figure out.
