Had to replace recirc door on my 2005 1500. The actuator is in place , but the door is half way between recirc and outside air. Does it calibrate itself when power is connected ? Appreciate any help.

1 of 2 things could have happened.
When you replaced the actuator, you did not align the small WHITE fitting properly.

The other thing is that the door itself is broken

You can easily find out if the door is broken.
Remove the actuator, then use your thumb & index fingers to move the White fitting, the door should move as the white fitting moves the door to the open & closed positions

All is good with the recirc door functioning properly. The door was broken when I bought the truck. Just got around to replacing the door. I was able to replace the door thru the hole where the blower mounts. It was tricky .I got a Dorman door that had the metal doohickie instead of the white plastic one.
