Got the Nittos mounted :) The truck took a step down in the aggressive look today...I dont FULLY like it but I like it. Still has an aggressive stance although I wish it poked out another half inch in rear and like quarter inch in front.

I think the best way to describe Terra Grapplers on my truck is they look good and aggressive 20ft and closer. Getting back to 25ft the common person may think they are normal tires on a black rim. Up closer it's easy to see it is surely a wide tire at 12.24" and looks aggressive just from that. The ALL Terrain tread pattern helps and the minor sidewall design. I did opt to have the blades face out instead of the lightning bolts. Also you can see I got the front Mopar splash guards installed, will do rears tomm.

But it was a win today overall. As I crept out of the tire parking lot, took a left on a side street, then a right and came to a main road. A car was coming somewhat hot and it was that decisive moment you either decide to wait or jump out in front of them. I jumped...Totally 100% unintended the ass end flung out to the left, I over corrected and it swung to the right then I was able to get it straight. Totally didn't mean too but my first reaction was a smile and I literally said too myself, "Damn..." As in that was awesome and it was all worth it based on the immediate power felt.

I can also say numerous times driving on my way to sell the Magnum RT steps I was surprised at the low end torque I gained. I can notice it all through the RPM band but more so on the low end.

Another observation later this evening...My brother came over and hasn't seen my truck since the exhaust was down, basically most of my mods besides CAI. I warmed her up for 7-8 minutes the new headed to some not busy roads for another 3 minutes away. I gunned it a few times with him in the truck to try and show off but for some reason the truck wouldn't downshift and it really didn't feel powerful. Really anticlimactic and it happened the 4-5 times I gunned it. After turning around I put in manual but when I gunned it it honestly felt gutless. Anyone have any answers why this is? My best guess is the throttle response is inconsistent. I have mentioned this before after the Hemifever tune but have never gotten an answer. Anyone else feel this way on a 6 speed? Finally in 2nd going about 23-25mph I was able to give a couple revs that lunged the truck forward.

Oh and what is a good PSI to run the new tires at? They have a max of only 50psi, tire shop set them to 36-38 can't remember off top of my head. They look a little compressed and IMO seem like they need to go to 40.

Got a few more pics. Basic detail...Got rear splash guards installed. Put the MBRP emblem on the tow hitch. It really is a very nice subtle cosmetic feature. It pops much more in person. I personally like it there rather than a rear window or somewhere else.

Im digging 12-1/4 wide tires by only 32.4", little beefcakes lol.

Drove her down to the local market. Wife hung in the truck as I went to go get nachos ingredients :) A car drove by after mugging the truck. My wife says the woman in the car said, "Wow! look at that truck." and then seen my wife and ducked the rest of the way out. It did look very nice with tire shine and the deep cherry pearl popping big time in the sun. I think it looks good but the step down in aggressive look will take me a couple weeks to get used too. But really these newest gen Rams all look good, even some stock. I had to sneak the back way into my neighbor hood and my street after mashing it 1/4 from my usual turn in spot. I throttled this ***** and she broke loose a tad then launched off! Only a 3 second throttle bu damn she sounded so mean and loud my wife and I knew instantly we would take the scenic route :) I'm getting really exciteted for the TQ to show up.

My buddy is a buffer for a very reputable restoration/body work shop. His boss, the owner walked by and said, "damn boy! You can buff a car!" He said its really looking like wet glass. Anyway he will be buffing on the side and starting with my truck :) Figured we would buy him a nice buffer, materials, compounds, etc as payment for me then he can build from there.

This is a definite notice in feeling the gain. Of all the mods I have done it has been the biggest notice in feeling more acceleration. Really happy with this mod. Need to realign my exhaust pipes though as they had to undo the whole exhaust from the tips back to remove Ypipe to drop the tranns. Oh well it will give me an excuse to block up some of the perforated holes in my resonator and get back some of the raspyness I lost when installing it.

And the next things...

Got a pair of these coming from Retro Shop. I thought I always wanted a pair of Oracles installed as I love that rectangular aggressive looking halo. Never a fan of christmas colors so I ordered just the white/amber switchbacks from LED concepts. After learning about and seeing the LED concepts strips instead of Oracle or Diode ones installed I am very happy. IMO they look so much better with the LED bulbs slightly smaller and not spaced apart. IMO the others look like some bling plastic diamond bracelet or something inside of my headlight. The LED concept strip is white to begin with and when turned on you have to get only a couple feet to see individual bulbs. This comes in line with the fact I just love the frost tube look we see in some newer premium vehicles coming out. Not the individual bulbs but it looks like something from Tron...

Also I just got done loosening my exhaust claps ALL the way back to the headers. The guys who installed my Edge Torque converter had to loosen everything to drop the tranny so I had a exhaust leak in a Y-pipe connection.

What this did is gave me a reason to modify my resonator. I loved my crazy loud aggressive raspy exhaust after headers/cat back exhaust install but it was way too loud at 2000-3000 rpm acceleration. So I installed a stainless Vibrant model #1141 resonator and it took care of that but also killed the raspyness over the entire RPM band. So...

I got some metal exhaust tape, cleaned out the first half of the resonator with alcohol and covered the first half of it! I am about the go out and fire it up!

I also have my tips painted black with a cool surprise I will reveal in the pics to come :)

Tomm eve I drop my truck off with my buddy who is a professional buffer/journeyman painter. So she shall be blinging Sat eve :)

And custom emblems being designed with Nathan at rebadge design...

Looks like FCA group is cracking down on copyright laws so any Mopar M logos for grill/tailgate emblems are out the door.

Any ideas anyone?
