I've got a 2004 dodge Ram 1500. Its got a really bad squeaking in the rear. I added a super lift add a leaf in the rear and the squeaking started happening about a month later. A truck shop told me leaf spring bushings are bad. They said it will cost 650 for new bushings and shackles. Should I bite the bullet and go that route that the mechanic told me. Or should I just buy all new leaf springs from sd truck parts for $120 each and let them install them? Would this fix my issue with the squeaking and if I bought the new leaf springs would I need new shackles? Any info is greatly appreciated.
