I’d like for my lights to be brighter, but not sure of the issues that come along with LEDs. I was wondering if I should go with LEDs, one of the two pairs I have pictured, or keep the stock Halogens? Thank you for any help.

Don't waste your money on any parts store halogen bulbs. You aren't going to notice any big improvement.

If your bulbs are 2 years old or more, they're getting oxidized and dim so any good bulb will be better, but nothing ground breaking.

Waste of money

go this route and under $30.

If you have the quad lights, I’ve put these in my 2014 and 2016. No errors, clocked at 3&9 perfect and huge difference. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07J1MTKDZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=

I’m not sure how old my bulbs are. I just bought the truck a month ago. But they don’t seem dim.

Have you used them?

Yes, on my old 17. Ran them for a minute, they were better than stock.!
I still wanted more so then went LED

Can the wires fit under the dust caps?

Yes. Everything fit like a stock bulb. These don’t have any extra wires or boxes like some of the other led lights have that are supposed to control flicker and canbus errors

Which one did you get
the silver star ultra

interestly, i changed my chrome quads to the night edition quads last week and put the bulbs i had in them , and "feel" like i lost some light output..i did reaim the new ones but gonna check the aim again..may try some of the led low beam mentioned in this thread as they arent silly expensive and see where that lands... im not interested in blinding oncoming traffic as whatever gain i get is no good if the opposing car cant see and crossed the center line

I became aware of these and can say I was not disappointed - the main reason is they are small and will fit in the high beam side of the projector style headlight (2016 Ram 1500) - the light output is amazing

It's mostly the reflectors that is the problem. I have the single bulb's on my 2011 and the headlights sucked from day one.

I went with h13 Led's from Headlight revolution and solved the problem

I went all LED on mine. I wish I had separate Lo/Hi bulbs since that gives the most possible light, but I gotta work with what I have. 30W ea. LEDs in main lamps plus 14W ea. fog light LEDs, along with new fixtures. The truck is about to turn 21 but the lights are great, and all for under $150.

I also added a 52" light bar on the bumper for off-roading, and for making slow cars leave the left lane ;) Works like a charm.

If you want the most light, especially with the night edition housings, go HID. However, please aim properly! I actually have projector housings (the best for HID tech and what it was developed for) with 55w HID bulbs and ballasts. It is worth buying a high-quality kit with good AC ballasts. If you buy the e bay junk don't mount the ballasts because you'll be replacing them often.
