Your ball joint angles aren't going crazy with the lift and a spacer on it???\

It does look good tho ;)

glad you mentioned that, honestly i had never even checked them before. I installed this in my auto tech class in school and we were in a rush so I never had time to look at it... So i just went out to check and this is what I find... Im not sure if its always been like this or what, but my guess is it wasnt. Im not sure what to do now... They need to be replaced, but is there any way I can get away with having the spring and spacer?

I know there's aftermarket control arms, forgot who makes them but a memeber OlDirtyJohn put them on his ram but I don't remember if it was for the amount of lift he had or if his was 4x2 as well. Don't forget about your upper control arms too, with that setup those ball joints are probably at a bad angle as well

thats a pretty tough angle, your boot is the only thing that looks busted, i would tape it up for the time being so dirt and stuff doesnt get in it, but i would look into some new upper arms that will help some. i have the cst 7'' kit on my truck and love it, the spindles are stout. i was wanting to add a spacer on mine but idk if its do able. my buddy had 3'' spacers on his for 10'' total lift but he couldnt get it aligned correctly. hope you get it worked out. worst case the 3'' springs alone will work good

Did it align up fine? And you probably busted the boot when you installed everything it's easy to do it may not be busted from your angle

Truck looks nice! The boot should be able to handle that angle easily. It likely was torn when breaking the spindle free or similar act.

The angle looks a touch steep, but nothing terrible. I'd be more concerned with the upper ball joint angle. Get something with a UniBall up there.
