Just installed black led brake light kit. Had spyder projector headlights installed for 2 days but they where junk and had moisture in them after one rain so I'm returning them. Plan on going with spec-d black headlights now

Yea I had the same problem so I just put my factory headlights back in and put the smoked covers on it.

HEY ****! haha it has a 1" longer shackle and no overloads tried going 2" but shackle angle was nasty and gave it a **** ride. And I hate blocks Most those pics are with camping gear and a fullsize spare or other parts

I hate the Florida Georgia Line squat as much as the next guy :homoswitch: but I'll admit my leafs are shot and starting to W and its gotten worse it used to be level. Just going deavers and spring under is out of the budget currently and my 51 chevy I'm bagging and body dropping has taken over my entire garage. Eventually it will get fixed, but for now maybe I should put underglow and some 24x14s :puke:

I thought it was called a cali lean? Aren't you in so cal? Lol that's how my truck looks with about 4 of my drunk fat friends in the back. If you do the 24x14s though make sure you put some 10 inch wide tires. The more stretched they are the better traction you will get, especially off road.

Traction I thought they were for hydroplaning across the freeway in the rain, free light pole mod? Isn't Texas where this stretched tire stance truck stuff started lol

If I take the fullsize spare out of the bed along with a empty bed and take the factory spare out from under the bed the truck should be close to level. Just I have a decent amount of weight sitting behind the axle with no overloads and clapped out leaf springs. But the extra weight helps I haven't gotten stuck in a sand wash yet and no overloads give me enough flex to stuff my 35s in my fenders.

I've tried 2" longer shackle out back but the shackle angle was funky and gave it a choppy ride so I landed with the 1" longer shackle I have now. I already get axle wrap now with 4:88s and a locker I don't want to find out how bad it is with a lift block.

If the truck didn't drop a rod and grenade the motor the suspension would be about halfway done and the truck would be level and sprung correctly. With no aftermarket support custom parts aren't cheap, your talking end of the day about 6K dumped into suspension parts only for a mid travel system not counting fab work. I do my own fab work and I'm a prototype machinist by trade so I save money there, a reputable shop will change $100/hr min for fab work. But with the mid travel setup should get about 10" travel up front and 14-17" out back depending on setup.

But that involves cutting the front shock towers and bump stops out, fabbing new shock towers to fit the coilover and bump stop. Gusseting upper control arm mounts, bracing the lower control arm mounts, tabbing and reinforcing the oem lower control arm, machining bolt in 4130 lower ball joint cups.
Cutting off and welding on new leaf spring perches, and a bedcage to fit 16" travel bypass shocks. Not to mention the trial and error when you cycle everything before final welding. But that setup you should be able to plow over a curb at 65 and it feel like a speedbump.

The truck isn't supposed to be pretty I bought it cheap so its no street queen and I'm not afraid to cut it up. It sees its fair share of dirt miles and it is reliable now after going thru the entire truck with a new motor, gears locker, trans service, poly bushings all around. I sold my main car so I had to make sure this thing wouldn't leave me waiting for the AAA chase team on the side of the freeway again.
