oK i Normally post in gen 1 section ... But this post is for my 2000 2wd D2500.. My tuck has 365,000 mile on it. But it's truly still a pretty good truck . Over the last 2 years I've got everything on the front end replaced. But or except my coil springs up front. It looks to me like it's got about a 2 inch drop or Droop in the front end. It just got front shocks put on it . I was having a noise chased & I expect the kid was hoping something might help & He put ona good set of new Monroes . I didn't want shocks yet But . I've got new shocks.
so my question is .. I THINK I have about a 2inch sag or drop in my front end . I'm wanting a slight lift .. As I like that look on these truck.
I've checked out new springs But I can't settle on which number is correct .. SO I'VE DECIDED that I'd rather just put in a set of coil spring lifts on top of my coils .
WHAT Do you guys say.. Which have you done in the past.
.. A LITTLE INFORMATION ON MY PAST... I had a parts store from 1974 or so until 1995.
Then I worked for the Automotive Wearhouse As a supervisor. Then 9/11. & I worked for a Chrysler dealership.. We worked on 100 diesel truck a week.. & About 5 or 10 other chryslers we were one ofthe biggest diesel truck shops ..
SO I've got a lot of time around trucks like my 2000 diesel. & Being a farmer I have several farm trucks . A 1989 D250 12 VALVE... A 1988 GAS D250 WESTERN HAULER FLATBED.. & a JEEP 4X4 95 / V8.. GrandCherokee for the farm.. & a 1973 BRONCO with a 4BT Cummins & 4speed & lockers F & R . & THE WIFE has a 2014 Durango we've wanting to replace it now.
....... SO WHERE WOULD YOU BUY THE LIFT SPACERS. & ANY OTHE ADVISE..
THANKS .

Your putting a bandaid on it , springs are pretty inexpensive . It will ride better with new springs also. With new you will recover the lost height too.

YES DAW14, but SINCE IT'S GOT 365k miles on it, I don't remember where it sat when it was new & I didn't even own it until it had 140K on it..
SO What if I buy new springs & put them under it. & It still doesn't set correctly. what my next band aid..
SINCE I'm an old parts man from an independently owned parts store ''of 29 years'' before selling out in 1995. I've sold both Perfect Circle Suspension parts & MOOG & Later an independent brands of front end parts. & anything I could special order, before the internet . Sources from jobber topic magazine ..
An now today I can't TRUTHFULLY Determine which spring to order..
I've heard HY-Jackerfront end parts can be a very tough ride & Mycurent spring ride very comfortable . & Same thing with ordering a new Moog set for a one ton. what if they ride like hell..
SO I think I'D Prefer a pair of the 3 inch riser lift spacers .
How do you agree with my thinking. & Thanks so much for your opinion.
I NEED more thoughts on this. I know several have got to have made this swap before.
THANKS .
