They are different heights because the bumpers are also completely different.

If you're looking to mount the plate higher on your bumper (top half body/lower section chrome), remove the bracket as it stands and see if you can drill new holes into the bracket to retain use of the mount's holes. Do you follow? The red dots below would be where the mount attaches to the bumper itself.

Can't you just flip the bracket 180 deg?

This is my set up; I went the non-light bar route...IMG_0448.JPG IMG_0443.JPG IMG_0482.JPG

The middle two are 130w (each) halogen spots, the outer two are 8" 35w HID's with spread beam pattern...

makes me think I should get a flashlight for the truck that I can just leave plugged into a charge port.

I keep a Fenix PD40 in my truck for that reason. But Im also out on hunting property almost weekly so I like lots of light.

Here is how I mounted mine. Removed that insert and drilled a couple of holes to mount this guy. Will see how it holds up, seems pretty solid as it stands. When I get my license plate, I'll have to get a plate mount and move it up about a half inch.

Rough county 50in light bars. They are good at standing by their warranty. I have replaced the lower light bar twice. No fault to them. It wasn’t installed correctly by the shop that put it on.

Not sure about other states, but here in the wonderful state of California (*not*) LED light bars are illegal for street use. Off-road use only. Make sure you get covers for them or you’ll get stopped. Especially in your more rural areas.

I have a cheap $85 one off of Ebay. It is super bright. I love it. Make my high beams superfluous.

have you looked into putting any lights in the fake hood scoops? I thought about it but havn't put much effort into actually doing any research.

Someone here posted how they added some and gave a link to the LEDs but I don’t have plans for that on my truck, I do want the cab clearance lights though

it would definitely be more of a novelty thing. would give it some attitude if they were red, or such...Then again might make the hood glow too much and never get turned on!
