Line-X over the rail?

As if late I have been using my bed more and more and am getting tires if the factory drop in. Especially on the tailgate, it seems to catch everything that's pulled it's way. That being said Im thinking of getting Line-x. Was quoted a lil over $400 + $75 for over the rail. My tailgate pad is all jacked up from hauling equipment and materials, so I was thinking on getting the tailgate pad and side rails removed and replaced with Line-X. Anyone out there done this and have pics?

uh- last lines shop I talked to said the " holes from the rail skirting needed to be filled first as they were to big to lines over. So I am saving getting bit all done until I have beat it up enough lol

Yea my local line x dealer said they wouldnt do my rails either.

I had my bed done with Rhino liner. I went over the side rails. They used a metallic tape to cover the holes from the under side and sprayed over. The tail gate cover on the other hand, the holes are way to big to go that route. It has been 4 years and its holding up great.

Was told the top rail cover needs ot be in place accoutn there is no other flat surface, witut it.

Ok, cool. Anyone know where I can get new caps for the sides and tailgate... besides the dealer?
