Yeah this is a great look. I'll be doing the exact same to mine in a few months. What rear springs did you go with, nitro or hydro? And how do you like it?
Wanting to keep everything 3k and under. (Lift, wheels, tires) not sure about the gearing honestly
Sorry for my lack of knowledge. But I see everyone talking about these bilsteins 1.4 1.8 or whatever. What exactly is that? The shock adjustment? I appreciate yalls help and these trucks look great! Even the 4in look dang good! If someone could post a 6in that'd be great! Thanks guys.
If I ran 35s with a 6in lift would that leave me with TOO much space in the wheel wells? I don't want it to look like I've got too small of tires on it. But I do drive hwy a lot so don't want to go higher than 35s. I've got 33s on it now
Honestly, you're going to be very hard pressed to get a lift wheels and tires for under $3k. For a Zone lift you'll be look at +/- $1600 depending on what height/options you want to go with. For wheels/tires the price range is huge depending on what you want but I'd be budgeting at least $2200 for those as that's an average cost. Then install of everything would obviously be on top of that if you can't do the work yourself.
As the other guys stated, Bilstein 5100's are adjustable front struts that can be put on the front of the truck for extra lift height to level the truck out. The need for these depends on the exact setup you want to go with. Some kits don't require them to be level (a 6" kit with 3" rear coils for example).
It's really up to personal opinion. I ran 35's on a 6" lift with Bilsteins at 1.4" on my old 1500. The tires were definitely borderline small but it still worked. Going with a wider wheel helps make the tire look a bit larger as well.
Did you guys get the zone uca's with those lifts?

What 6" lift did you have
I got them to, I hear the uni ball ones squeak so I stuck with ball joints. They sure look cool and are American built.Yes I got the zone upper control arms.
