Was having the same problem, but to the extreme. The TPS is supposed to send something like 0.4 volts, mine was sending 400. Yes, four hundred. Replaced it with a non OEM part, everything was fine. It did something almost exactly like what you are describing the other day, except it was while I was getting on the freeway. Not super busy, but of course there was a semi behind me. I pumped the gas a few times and it was fine. But I'm wondering what the cause of the TPS going bad is. ****** parts?

Just buy Mopar.
