yeah, confused me for a minute, I was thinking to myself, my rear tires have not hit my inner rear fenders yet and ive hit the ground a few times on dips in the road, lol, but I trimmed my fenders and my tires fit with like 1/16" to spare between fender and rear tire

I just finessed(or bent lol) the lip of the fender up an it seems like it's just enough to clear now. I have 275/60/17 nittos but there not very wide for a 275

Installed my drop yesterday. It's a hybrid/piecemeal affair with coils, shackles, and shock extenders from McGaughy's, drop springs, and Bell Tech Street Performance shocks on all 4 corners. I also have the Timbren rubber springs to replace all of the bump stops, I just need to fab up the mounts for the rear and cut out the front bump stops.

Any updated pics yet? lol

No, I abandoned the idea temporarily because my pinion angle when lowered another 2" was completely out of control and was to the point where I was seriously worried, so I took the blocks out.

I am gathering a bunch of parts and I'm going to get rid of the flip kit and have new spring perches welded onto the rear end at the appropriate places to correct the pinion angle. It'll be a lot safer and it'll ride a lot better, even though I'll be a lot lower.

I'm just biding my time so that I can get the relocated upper control arm mounts and the spring perches all welded in at the same time.

with my flip kit, you can turn the axle to where u need.
Took me a while to dial it in, I didn't have an angle gauge.

I still have to notch my frame.

I just bought new spring perches for $35 and I'll have the old ones cut off and the new ones welded in where it will have a perfect pinion angle. Probably $200 in welding and measuring, but there will be no goofy brackets or extra bolts and it will look completely factory when done.
