Anyone think these would look funny paired up with factory black quad headlights? I'm not a fan of the factory reflector fogs...
I put morimoto XB fog lights in my brothers 2015 GMC Denali and they look good. Output was much better than stock but still has nothing on my projector retrofitted logs.
About time they came out with these tho.
How Much wood did you use?
Wood?
Ya, but are they 6000k color ?A proper built morimoto LED will output similar or better than an HID in most cases. Find someone who has a mori led and it will impress you.

lol... nope. My brother has the morimoto fogs on his Denali... they are brighter than stock... but not equal to a projector with HIDs. I will agree that they are a good bit brighter than the factory fogs. The LED fogs just dont have the optics to get a clean cutoff and thus less light at a distance as you can't aim them high enough without residual light blinding people.
Here is a comparison of the LED Dodge 09-12 horizontal fogs and the new 7.0 projectors with a 35w kit.
To hot?Well color me wrong, although as stated this is still too hot for a fog. The 7.0 is an amazing looking amount of light. Im sure I will appreciate them in my headlights at the end of summer.
Color temp. Fresh blacktop and rain at night makes the higher temps less useful. 4000 or below is my goal for my bad weather lighting. To hot?
If anyone has them installed can we get a pic of how they look in the bumper.. off.
