Vehicle:
2002 Ram 1500 4wd 34K Original miles.
What happened:
Obviously, the truck doesn't get used much, but I try to start it once a week.
Dog got sick and I didn't start it for a month.
Old battery totally dead.
Jump started and in the beginning wouldn't idle. I ran it for 20 minutes with my foot on the pedal, turned off and back on several times. Eventually it would start and idle.
Even though it would start and idle, all the gauge indicators were lit up, but the gauges don't work. Strange code where the odometer is. (see picture). Headlights and taillights on even though light switch is off.
I put in brand new battery. No changes.
Anyone have any ideas of what's wrong?
