I have a 2014 CC and all i ever here from my Wife, Mother-in-Law and little brother is "you need to get some steps for your truck" which my response would always be "i will as soon as you pay for them". Any way i am looking into buying a set of bars, but there are about a million different brands and sizes. i wanted to know which type of bars people suggest. i would normally just buy the ones from Mopar but the price is a little steep. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mcchub

Check out Westin Gen-X steps. Similar to n-fab and go rhino only better!

I had a set of NFABs on my last ram and liked them a lot. Gonna do AMP research steps on this on.

I used NFab on my 2007 MegaCab and really liked them. My new 2014 CC has Mopar accessory ones that came on the truck when I bought it and I'm not too sure about them yet.

AMP, NFab, Iron Cross and RBP are all brands I want to check out.

I looked around quite a bit before settling on these:

Good thing you made this post as I was going to make the exact same post. I was leaning more towards the black mopar ones but seeing as how they are 600 or so, I think I'll go with the Iron cross stealths, they look good and for half the price of the mopars.

I bought the same steps. Easy to install and work great! I've recommended them to a few people oh here. Got mine off of AutoAnything. They have a 20% sale going on right now (almost over). I think I got the same discount on mine, paid something like $255 for them shipped.

I had the Mopar 4" rolled ones on my '08, and i really liked them because they sat more under teh truck and didnt stick out beyond the wheels. Now it appears the ones that fit my new '15 Laramie stick out exceedinly far, and I dont like that look. Besides the folding ones, any other ones out there that sit closer to the body?

I've got a pair of Smittybilt black oval nerf bars. $180 from a local place - they are great. I had worries because I'm a BIG guy (340lbs currently), but no bend, no sway when I step on them. Nothing. Great value for the quality.

I got cheap black painted 304SS 3" nerf bars off ebay for $118 shipped. They bolted right on and are very sturdy... they look a lot like the westin chrome posted above. Then I put red LED light strips to light them up when the doors open or are unlocked. It's been 6 months and just went through a pretty ****** winter and they look and work greAt.
