Hey guys just a little about myself since I am the new guy on the block. I have been a RAM owner since 2002 when I purchased my 2003 2500 SLT with 5.7 Hemi, which now has 110000 miles on it. Just recently I purchased another RAM, this time a 2012 1500 Laramie Longhorn 5.7 Hemi with 119000 miles. My 03 has been a great truck and has only been in the shop one time in its life (for clogged AC condensation). I was hoping to get the same kind of service out of the 2012, but already have had to replace the AC compressor. Shop guys said they replace a lot of them due to the mounting causing undue tension on the pulley which caused the main seal to fail. I was told that he had replaced the compressor 7 times on 1 truck and the dealer had replaced it 3 times. Anyone else having this problem?
