New to dodge

Just bought my first dodge. So far I'm loving this truck. Is there anything I need to watch for with this beast?
It's a 2008 5.7 litre 1500.
Can't seem to upload a pic from my phone.

Do these trucks shut down 4 cylinders at highway speeds?

Welcome to RF.

Check the fluids, do a coolant flush no matter what. Check your plugs, make sure they are standard copper core, the 5.7L highly prefers them standard plugs over anything fancy. Better MPGs and power.

Check everything steering and suspension up front, they tend to wear in that area and preventative maintenance is much better than failure when it comes to steering parts.

The rest is standard maintenance. When you have issues a good search on this forum will get you going, and worst case just ask.
