Has anybody modified one of these with different tubing to make the airflow better? So is the Vararam still the way to go on the Gen3?

I love my K&N FIPK Gen. II CAI, it sounds awesome and I get around 2 more MPG's to boot.

They are crap? Wouldn't go that far.... Install is a pita, quality is special, but it does the job it says it does. Track numbers agree too...
