Time to go to work......LoL
ARH definitely 308......some are 409 stainless which will rust but not that quickly..... also that is what the factory exhaust is 409..........then there are the steel tubes that don't last long at all.

Theyre claiming 304 stainless on their website

Tubing usually goes 409, 304 then 321. 308 is a SS filler rod using in welding 409/304. 304 is what the headers are more than likely made of if they won’t rust. 321 is stupid expensive and usually
Not needed over 304 unless it’s marine or turbo.

A: It's in the title of his post NJ
B: You obviously didn't bother to read the thread because he decided to wrap them instead.
C: Keep up buddy.

If you haven't stumbled across this tip of soaking your header wrap in water,it's worth doing, makes the stuff a little nicer to handle, and you can get a better wrap with it when it's wet.Hose clamps make decent tie wraps if you run out of stainless steel ties.

If you wrap them it might help with some of the problems we talked about.

I'd still soak it,even the titanium stuff is nasty to handle, plus it lays/wraps better when wet.Another tip is to wear tight fitting long sleeves and when you shower use as cold a water stream as you can stand, lol.

I have wrapped a few headers in the past, however it is of my opinion that the coating was not ceramic......

I wouldn’t wrap them. I’ve done more titanium wrap than I want to admit and it’s the reason I’ve moved onto ceramic coating. Wrap has its place but it’s also not the best option. Wrap will fray over time as it drys out and the dust/strands will stick to everything and make a mess. It does work but it’s too susceptible to destroying itself.
