No DRL’s. Where to wire for “always on?”

• In the list > Daytime Running Lights
• Check Off or On

SOB!! I do have that setting for the daytime running lights! Maybe I’ll splice into that if the add a circuit doesn’t pan out.

yes, that’s what I’ve been working with. I don’t have an F66 there. Just goes to 64. In my manual, F66 is located in the internal power distribution center under the passenger side control panel.

On the engine compartment fuse box, use fuse F43 or F38. Those are run relay fused circuits, so the lights will come on when the truck is running or the ignition is in the run position (but not when the ignition is in accessory).

In the evic I'm pretty sure there is a USA and Canada setting, with Canada being DRL on with ignition

Thought I had it figured out once I got the DRL’s on via the settings in my radio and spliced my amber lights into the hot wire for the headlight. But the ambers don’t come on with the DRL’s. Only once the full headlights come on. I did try the fuse for the adjustable pedals (F20), but that left the the lights on even with the ignition off. Next nice day I have here, maybe I’ll splice in a plug to the headlight wire and try those other fuses mentioned so they’re on when the ignition is on.

I have 2014 Laramie, dealer activated mine to have amber all the time.

He used dealer connect and activated Sales Code LM5.

You may have option to activate yourself since you have 2019.

Got the DRL’s on in the lights menu in settings! But as stated above, they only go on when the headlights are on full, not in DRL mode. Task for another day I guess!

You can utilize any ignition hot for drl's. You could use a piggyback fuse tap on a circuit that doesn't get used very often (link below). Just be sure to get the correct fuse type. Also, Amazon has a drl controler so you don't have to have the drl's on 100% of the time that the ignition is on (link below).
