What's up everyone, long time viewer first time posting. Question is I have a 2012 1500 with the 5.7 hemi with 42k miles. I'm having some work done on it and the mechanic tells me to never ever put synthetic oil in those hemis. Says to always stick to traditional and dodge even recommends it. This just seems horribly off to me and I was wondering if anyone has received any similar advice. Was thinking of switching over to synthetic on my next oil change because the truck pulls our camper and definitely gets a work out. Is this guy crazy?
