I just found these on eBay.

I was about to buy the AlphaRex G2 switchback lights because they are on sale until midnight for 4th of July but saw these and was wondering if anyone has tried these yet?

They are a hybrid mix of the 2019 style Modify Street / AlphaRex lights and the 13-19 Ram OEM Projectors. I think it’s a nice mix, they look pretty nice and even have the OEM Projector back dust cap.

They use H7 lows and H9 highs.

Anyone have these yet? Or any more pics of them on actual trucks???

One thing that really confuses me about these lights is that the ad clearly states more than once that these are only for the Quad/Dual style Rams and NOT the OEM Projector models, yet I’m like 99.99% sure that the plug on the back of these is the same as the OEM Projector plug.

For the price why not just give it a shot?

I'm confused by that statement also.

Here's the 2018 premium projector schematic & connector info (13-18 & 19 classic are the same).
Based on the picture, it looks like whatever they are doing internally, they have matched the Pinout on the factory projector connector with pins in the DRL (4) & fault Sense (14) spots (3, 6, 8 &11 are empty) ...

The pics show them using adapters (just like the retroshop quad to projector adapters, but without the resistors). The only reason I can think that they say not compatible with projector trucks is the light fault sense wires. The drivers inside the headlights that run the led boards probably don’t account for the fault sense wires. On a projector truck, if the fault sense wires aren’t hooked up to anything without being disabled (with AlfaOBD), there will be faults in the BCM. I’m sure whatever the reason is that they claim not compatible, AlfaOBD could take care of it.

These are new to me. They look very similiar to AlphaRex/ModifyStreet, but clearly different. Sister factories in China. For the price, it might be worth a shot, but who knows on quality. Cutoff, sealing, fitment, etc. Roll the dice...

I decided to go with the AlphaRex since so many people have gotten them already and have spoken about their quality plus I think the AlphaRex look a little better. Plus I am opening them up and putting in RGBWA boards and some sort of LED projector I’m just not sure which one yet since I’m waiting until I open them up to see size and mounting options and stuff.

Well not made by Spyder, but we import them.

The Alpha sellers get them from us

Oh and the listing states that because these come with the conversion harness from dual or quad to projector.
I am not sure if they work on a projector truck cuz I haven’t tested them yet but they should

By “The Alpha sellers” you mean AlphaRex? There lights are not the same as these, actually they are almost completely different from these.

The impression I got from talking to the AlphaRex employee on IG and FB Messenger was that they have these manufactured just for them, and that I was able to have changes made if I wanted to sell a limited edition version under my headlight company. I was told that changes could be made at the factory that makes them, and I could pretty much change anything I wanted and they could be made for me (I’m talking about a big order and not just one set being made, but a large order to resell).

So from the multiple conversations I had with them, I gathered that they source and build the lights themselves in a factory in China. I did not get the impression that they buy them from another company (Spyder). So I’m interested to hear what role your company has with them.

I have not tried them yet. I am in the middle of a custom build of the AlphaRex style lights right now. Might check these out down the road if nobody else does.
