So I just bought this lighted hitch cover the other day:

Would it be possible to paint the black, back portion to the matching flame red of my truck and the chrome paint it black with the VHT nite shades? Would the light still shine through enough to be worth having it as an extra brake light?

Completely off topic but does anyone know where to buy those chrome autobot sticker/decals? I know I can find them online but I'd like to buy them at a store if I could

I would paint the black like the guys do 4th gen tailgate badges, Im sure there are some write ups on here for that and I would use plastidip smoke over nightshades on the chrome

Well I was kinda hoping to do it 2 color! Red in the background, black for the ram and all the chrome it is now. I was going to take it apart to separate the pieces but it would've broken if I had pulled it any more. Dipping it in bleach won't mess up any circuitry will it?
