what about pw? 2500 and sfa. You could always add sport hood or even better amp hood.

Want the best ride possible and the center shift .. 2500 does not have that from the factory .. I also like stated do not want to have to add anything on it that I can get from the factory ,.

Another question ... what is my factory gear option on the 1500?

hoods are different on the HDs. The 1500 hood won't fit, but APM does make one for them. ;)

From what I gather the interior is the same .. with the exception of CAMO

You can get leather seats (which means you can get heated and cooled seats) and dual ac on the sports. Can't on the outdoorsman. Also the sports come with a leather stitched dash.

In the next month or two ram should be putting out some good incentives on 2012's to move them out for the 2013's

One of the reasons I wanted a sport was for the leather stitched dash. I like how it looks better. I'm gonna vote sport

Outdoorsman:
Better approach angle
200 lbs lighter than Sport edition
6 more gallons for gas
Higher Payload and Towing Capacity
LT tires standard compared to Passenger tires
Trans cooler

Sport:
5.7L standard add on the the MO for 1300
20's standard add on the the MO for 1400

If it was me................... Outdoorsman's hands down. Why do you want to look like every other Tom, **** and Harry? :Big Laugh:

I'd go for a sport as it offers all the options you are looking for. Definitely decide the options you want then don't settle. And get the leather heated/cooled seats. One of the few options I don't have that I really regret not buying.

As far as gear options, you have 3.55s or 3.92s with LSD. I'm sure I don't need to convince you on which one is better.

Have you thought about whether you want a QC or CC? the Quad has a foot smaller cab, but gains the space in the bed (what I have). The Crew has a foot bigger cab but looses the space in the bed. For carrying a 4 wheeler, I'd go with the Quad, but it's a little more stuffed when you have passengers. For reference, mine in the back of my truck with the front of the 4 wheeler resting up against the bed of the truck, I cannot put up my tail gate (due to the larger tires on my ATV). If you get the crew, you'll likely need to keep the tail gate down no matter what size ATV you have.

Also, I can see your reasoning for the rambox is valid. It would still be possible to fit my ATV in with a rambox, but I can tell you the margin of error when loading would be a lot smaller fitting it in a narrower cab.
