I keep a Chinese "Brand X" portable inflator in the truck that plugs into the cigarette lighter. Think it was about $40 on the old jungle website. It's slow and noisy but works for adding 5 to 10 psi without having to go to a gas station or drag out the big compressor at the house.

IMO everybody should have something similar in their vehicle when they travel. Inexpensive, doesn't take up much space and might just save your day.

I ordered up a LASFIT cordless Tire inflator last week !
https://www.lasfit.com/collections/...ortable-tire-inflator-car-air-compressor-pump .
Arrived yesterday and charged it up ! Used it today to top off 2 tires about 5 PSI each !
Works pretty good and a few minutes I was topped off ! Not as cheap as my Slime compressors and I have 2 of those as well as a full size compressor at home !

That inflator device looks pretty impressive.

Great features & specs, and comes with a case and all the associated parafinalia. Hard to believe they have such fantastic specs in such a tiny package.

It's small enough to consider packing on a bicycle trip, even fits a presta valve and pumps high enough for HP bike tires. Wow!

They've also extended their Black Friday pricing for another 36 hours from now. At only $130, I'd buy one if I didn't already have several.

With codes out there they can be had for a bit over 100$ !
I also have 3 slime compressors but I like toys so the thought of no plug in was the catch for me !
Specs are good and added 5psi in my tire about 2/3 minutes

I have onboard air but..... Home Depot on sale has a Milwaukee x2 5.0 batteries with charger for $179. Then you get to pick a FREE tool. I picked the Air compressor. It has programmable memory for PSI presets. For a portable air compressor I'm impressed so far. And now have 2 more batteries for use in the other Milwaukee tools.

I've got a cheap Chinesium plug-in one my mother-in-law gave me many, many years ago that I keep in the truck all the time.

If I'm going on a longer trip I grab the 20v Dewalt portable pump. It'll air up 4 truck tires from 34psi - 50 psi and 6 (2 spares) trailer tires from the mid 40 psi range to 65 psi on a single battery charge.
