Possible to upgrade to side mirrors with signals?

I mistakenly bought a replacement that has a turn signal on it. So I either have to upgrade the other side, try to return it, or sell it

So the first question I have is, is it possible to upgrade to this feature on a 2017 ram 1500 tradesman? Seems the controls work but the light dosent, is there a remedy?

You would just have to activate them using AlphaOBD

May have to change door modules,not sure if there changed only for power folding only.

I put signal/puddle towing mirrors on my 2017 SXT, dealer added 2 codes and they work fine.

All that is needed for the blinker/puddle lights to work is to enable the codes. The door modules you currently have will work for every option except Power Fold. This is one that can almost always be done by the dealer or you can use the Alfa OBD as mentioned. The dealer would need to enable the LEB and LEC codes in your BCM and they will usually charge between 1/2 to 1 hr labor to do it so usually between $80 to $160. The Alfa tool can also easily enable those codes plus pretty much anything else you may want to add later. The App is $49 plus you would need to purchase the OBD Link MX by ScanTool for around $60 to $70 depending on where you buy it. This program needs to run on an android device or windows. Android seems to work better.
