I have been so damn busy that I meant to post this before this weekend. My brother in law will be cutting my rocker panel out and replacing with a new one from LMC truck. Should I paint the back side of the rocker so it doesn't rust fast? Would the welding still work with it?

they make weld-through primer spray can specifically for this. If you have an O'reilly auto near you... http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/d...oap?ck=Search_N0472_-1_911&pt=N0472&ppt=C0171

No O'reilly...looks like auto body store by my is closed now and tomorrow, wonderful!

I asked my brother in law and he said he has primer and what not for it, so no clue if he has the weld thru stuff...

I read online you can use cold galzanized spray paint from home depot ?
