ok so i been thinking...so everyone knows how you can do the 3in suspension lift on the 2wd if you get the bigger knuckles....now my questions is if i want to do a 3in lift as well...would the same knuckles fit on a 4wd...im sure there if a way to do a 3in suspension lift with out having to do the leveling kit or BL...anyone please chime in...this is somthing i was thinking about for the past few days

Good question...but I highly doubt they are the same.

Look at the two lift kits in this pic...both are for the the Gen3 trucks...the blue kit is 4WD, the black kit is 2WD...there is an obvious difference in the knuckles.

The knuckles are different. It would be easier to just do a leveling kit and a 1" body lift...... And cheaper. Level=$100, 1" body lift=$70
The body lift is easy bc you don't have to extend anything. And the level you can just crank your t-bars(free level), or buy the level keys.

I would have said yes, since the lowering spindles are the same. BUt shows what I know.

thankz for the info guys...im really determined that the spindles are the same...when i get some free time im goin to have to go to the junk yard and match the 2 up..while im getting some parts as well
