So everything ive read everywhere supports that LSDs, when in park and jacked off the ground, spin the same way. No question in my mind that the statement makes sense. But heres where i get confused, mine dont. Build sheet shows LSD option, rubber on the ground shows LSD option, but when the rear is jacked up and in park, the wheels spin opposite like an open diff. Anyone know wth is going on with this? It doesnt add up to me

The rubber on the ground would tell me that both wheels would spin in the same direction. I know even on my front wheel drive srt4, they spin the same way, like any "posi type" rear axle.

Only the 1500 use a clutch driven limited slip that will cause the wheels to spin the same direction. That rule does not apply to the gear driven limited slip that is on your truck. What you have is normal for that rear end.

Beautiful. Finally an answer that makes sense. Been getting confused with all this 1500 stuff and having someone know the difference helps

Wait the 1500 LSD should spin the same direction? My build sheet says I have it and the rubber does too but my spin opposite as well but I have a 1500 with 3.55

When jacked up and in neutral my 1500 LSD spins the tires in opposite directions

Okay so then maybe its something different than 1500/2500. To the people who have tires spinning the same way; is your LSD aftermarket or stock? Maybe its a different type of LSD

Jacked up in neutral mine spin the same way. Build sheet says 3.92 anti spin rear diff. Behaves like a good lsd should.

Okay so I'm not the only one here confused with what's going on here since hustlin goes the same but mine and Ramunit go opposite and we all have it on our build sheet

If you have a Trac lok, and you spin one tire and the other tire goes the opposite way, it is probably worn out.
