RA1 to Ra2 radio upgrade issues..

After reading multiple threads on the simple plug n play upgrade for my truck I swapped a RA2 (Uconnect 5.0) from a 2014 ram into my truck (a 2016) replacing the RA1 radio..after entering unlock code from dealer, voila it powers and functions,(volume knob even works, shocker) however the USB media hub will charge but not recognize my phone or USB (formatted accordingly) but it did before the swap. Also when I press on the phone option, it says “Initializing Bluetooth please wait..” and does nothing but that for ever.
Is there a solution for these issues or should I kill them with fire??

I am having a similar issue except when I go to add my phone it just gives me a red X. Everything else works except blue tooth.
