Ram lifting help

I have a 2011 ram 1500 look for a struts to lift 4" found a set on rough country but it says it's for a 2012 is there any difference between the 2011 and 2012 struts and upper control arms?

Are you already lifted? BDS sells some 4-6” lifted struts

Ram put a whole new front differential assembly in the 2012 models. This housing has all new mounting points that differ from the previous model years 09-11 so companies had to develop a complete new lift system specifically for 2012 Ram1500 trucks.

If your looking at the 4" lifted N3 struts those are only for trucks with a suspension lift. These are extended length and are designed to eliminate the strut top spacer that's used in conjunction with the longer knuckles and drop brackets.

NOTES - IMPORTANT

• Cannot be installed in conjunction with a strut spacer
• ONLY fits models with 4-inches of lift

If you want to install the 2.5" lifted struts or bilstein 5100's, Kings, Icons, Fox etc that's fine, same part number fits 09-20 classic, same with control arms they fit 09-20 classic.
