Well after a few months I finally got my 30" light bar installed. The light bar is made by rough country and is their black series curved p/n 72730BL, 150w with 12,000 lumens (Length: 31.37-inches | Depth: 3.12-inches | Height: 1.6-inches). I have the license plate bracket so I could only fit a single row, but at 12,000 lumens it lights up all I need for my use. I also wanted a single row so I could tuck it inward as much as possible. The metal/plastic bumper bracing behind the sport bumper cover prevented me from totally recessing it but I did what I could. The black series has the black face and hardware so it helps to make it "blend in" as much as possible. The light bar comes with a really nice harness and switch that made it easy to install. I designed a tow hook relocation bracket and made a provision to attach a light bar bracket to it. Its a tight fit to get the light bar with the tow hooks and still allow full use of the tow hooks but it worked.

Looks real good. I did a 30" single row curved in the same spot, but don't have the tow hooks. For me I think it's the perfect size for that space especially if having to run front plate.

Sweet! Looks very sharp. I put mine in same place and hid on behind my grill too. I think I might buy tow hooks next?? I like that look. Good touch JB!

Looks great. I have the same bar in the same spot. Haven't done the tow hooks yet but now I might have to. I ended up buying a $3 universal license plate bracket from Amazon that allowed me to move the plate up just enough so the light pattern isn't blocked. Plus I think it looks cleaner.

Definitely adds to the looks of the truck......how much additional visibility does it give you at night?

It’s very bright, way to bright to drive in traffic with. First time I tried it was coming home Christmas Eve, really lit up the road

Looks perfect! I like the slimness of the single rows in the front bumper! Good job JB!

Looks good, how difficult were the brackets to make/fab?

I had a machine shop make the 3/16” thick 316ss tow hook brackets but I made the light bar end “L” brackets out of 1/8” thick aluminum flat bar in my garage.

Post some pics of the relocation brackets.

It does look really good. Subtle and effective.

I did the dual 42” China bars and a 22”
Behind the grille and it was dandy but overkill lol. I’m prob going with dual 6” rigid spots in the chrome bumper tow hook areas on this new truck. Keep it simple and the much higher quality rigids should give me a good bit of light over the China crap.
