Recently purchased 2016 Laramie with auto dimming but the driver side doesn't dim.

I recently purchased a 2016 1500 laramie with the auto dimming feature and when I first drove at night I noticed the rearview whent blue and so did the passenger exterior mirror but the driver side mirror did not and wasn't sure if it was optioned this way or if it was broken. The mirror itself has an almost smokey look to in during the day so I wasn't sure if it was broken. Any advise would be appreciated.
