Just did that over the weekend.
Got a Duplicolor Red Brake Caliper Paint Kit last week, and I was just waiting for the right moment to do it myself.
I took advantage of having the wheels off to plastidip them, which goes better with my red/matte black theme.
Rear wheels off, 2 jack stands:
This is what you get at first sight:
After cleaning and wire brushing real good:
Firsts coats (kinda ugly) :
I plastidipped at the same time my Rims.
First cleaned them real good with hot water and soap.
Found this tip online, where you actually lay out flash cards all the way around, which makes it a lot easier:
And this is the final result, after 5 coats for the calipers, and 2 for the rims.
Really happy with it:
I still have to do the front wheels lol.
You can see a little the difference between the 2 here:
It comes out better in real life.
