Replacement Speakers - 3rd Gen

I have a 2002 Ram 1500 with what I'm assuming is the Infinity Sound System-- there are speakers on my dash board. I'm wanting to replace my door speakers and I need to know if the speakers I've picked out will work.

I have picked out the Rockford Fosgate Power T1693 6x9 for the front speaker and Rockford Fosgate Power T165 6.5 for the rear speaker.

I replaced mine in my 06. The 6x9 will fit the front but the back are 5 1/4 if I remember correctly. I know for sure there no 6 1/2.

Apparently the rear speakers are 5 1/4 but you can fit 6.5 all you have to do is drill new mounting holes. If you have the infinity sound system you will have a little badge that says infinity on your two front door panels on the opposite side of your mirrors. I dont know the specs on the stock amp so im not sure if the speakers would work or not

Texas, I was looking at the crutchfield site and it said that all 2002 & 2003 QCs come with infinity. I'm not trying to dispute you, but I want to make sure I have the correct information. Will not having the Infinity system change anything about the fitment of door speakers?

the infinity system is just an option, I dont have it. They will fit, but I believe the infinity sound system comes with an amp so Im not sure if those speakers will work with it. Im no audio expert though so someone else will have to comment on that.

Infiniti uses i believe 2 ohm speakers and most after market speakers are 4.... Won't sound right if you dont match it up right

adding 4 ohm coax will be fine, less stress on the built in amp anyway.
