Resonators or Not?

2015 5.7L Hemi Crew Cab with duel exhausts and cold air intake. I just bought a magnaflow 14" straight thru performance muffler part #12198. To keep or not to keep the resonators on? Sound difference? Performance difference? Price worth it? They want $50 each to remove. Thanks in advance.

I can tell you with my setup being the 12198 and no resonators, it made hardly a difference in sound. IMO I would just leave the resonators on, because it is not worth $100 to remove resonators.

I went with the cat back and absolutely love the sound minus resonators.

I have my resonators removed really no difference in sound.

I'm going borla pro xs this weekend with stock resos.

No real benefit in my research to remove them. None for me anyway.

Left my resonator on with my Borla Pro XS. Sounds great to me! It really comes to life under hard acceleration and it's close to stock in terms of overall loudness at idle. Yet, it's MUCH deeper!

I left the resonators on and installed the 14" Magnaflow. Sounds great and it is not as loud as many have said the 14" would be over the 18" or others in other forums. It's not that loud until you really step on it, and then it sounds great in my opinion, not loud.
